City of Conyers and Rockdale County hosts annual fireworks show celebrating America's 250!! Panola Mountain State Park, **This event is pre-registration only** Join the staff and volunteers for a once a year, exclusive opportunity at Panola Mountain. Hike Panola Mountain to watch the sunset over downtown Atlanta, then wait as the fireworks from Decatur, and Peachtree City to Stone Mountain etch across the sky. 8-10pm, $25 plus parking fee, www.arabiaalliance.org

Get a behind-the-scenes look at life in a cloistered monastery. On these Highlights and Insights Tours, participants will get to see sections of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit not normally open to the public.
