Big Haynes Creek celebrates Arbor Day with a free month long event, Help us celebrate Arbor Day as we kick off this month-long event. Each week, our staff will hide “blossoms” on the trails, in bushes, on trees, and other hidden corners. If you find one, you are invited to trade it in at the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival (March 23-24) for a handmade artisan keepsake. This show takes place at the Georgia International Horse Park,   Dog agility is an exciting team sport where the dogs and their handlers navigate a challenging course of jumps, tunnels, weave poles and other obstacles at speed.  Spectators are welcome, and admission is free. City of Conyers hosts annual parade at 5pm, beginning at the corner of Beasley’s Drugs, coming down Center Street and finishing on Commercial Street.  Awards given out for best costumes for best leprechaun look alike for kids and dogs.    Afterwards enjoy food trucks and activities. www.visitconyersga.com
