On these Highlights and Insights Tours, participants will get to see sections of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit not normally open to the public. A ceremonial fun run that brings the community together in the spirit of history, tradition, and connection. Beginning at 9:15 a.m., the event officially launches festival weekend while honoring the Georgia International Horse Park’s legacy as a 1996 Olympic venue and celebrating 30 years of Olympic history — rooted together in Conyers. For children ages 6-18, free event but must be registered, participants will  keep their torch and receive an Olympic-style medal, while the first 10 runners to cross the finish line will also receive a free, limited edition Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival t-shirt.
