    Readers, fans, and media are invited to a free Book Launch Party for “The Queen of Second Chances” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in historic Olde Town Conyers. The celebration features a guided stroll through the real streets and storefronts that inspired the novel — Olde Town seen “through Destiny’s eyes” — followed by Book Birthday cake, a Q&A with the author Kam Karem,  prize drawings, photo opportunities, and book swag. Guests gather in front of the author’s office at 915 Commercial Street, Conyers, GA 30012. Admission is free (book-purchase receipts unlock higher swag levels); RSVP by August 22, 2026, to tk@tkread.com.
