Presented by Conyers Garden Club, held at Rockdale County Extension Office, 1127 West Ave, 11-12pm, this series will inspire gardeners to incorporate more native species while offering practical ideas for getting started.  Speakers, Victoria Hull, Spalding County Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, and Andrew Carroll with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will share their combined expertise and discuss their work transforming part of their community garden into a native pollinator garden. Readers, fans, and media are invited to a free Book Launch Party for “The Queen of Second Chances” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in historic Olde Town Conyers. The celebration features a guided stroll through the real streets and storefronts that inspired the novel — Olde Town seen “through Destiny’s eyes” — followed by Book Birthday cake, a Q&A with the author Kam Karem,  prize drawings, photo opportunities, and book swag. Guests gather in front of the author’s office at 915 Commercial Street, Conyers, GA 30012.
